Itinerary
From Garden to Table
Fresh produce from the estate garden, a professional kitchen and liquid nitrogen gelato — this is no ordinary cooking class.
Depart FlorenceGuests will leave the meeting point together at their allocated time and head straight to the private estate where you’ll find the high-tech kitchen you’ll be using for the day – you’ll feel like a real professional chef!
A Hands-On ExperienceThe fun really begins when the group enter the kitchen and start preparing the food. Led by our entertaining and knowledgeable chefs, we can promise this experience is not something you’ll forget in a hurry.
Hands-On CookingThe first step is to prepare the gelato. Choose from a variety of different flavours and create your personal mixture before freezing it to get back to later. The group will then receive an informative introduction to the art of pizza or pasta making, the Italian way. Once you’ve learnt the basics, you’ll put your newfound knowledge into practice and start bringing together your very own dough!
For Pizza MakersAfter preparing the dough, select the topping ingredients that you like from the assortment of fresh vegetables harvested from the estate gardens. Your pizza is then baked traditional-style in the wood oven.
For Pasta MakersRoll up your sleeves and get to work creating two types of fresh pasta from scratch, and recreate iconic Tuscan sauces including Ragù alla Salsiccia and Burro e Salvia.
Liquid NitrogenThe gelato making continues with further entertaining instruction from the chefs and a live demonstration with liquid nitrogen. Once the delicious treat is ready you’ll be able to sit back with your fellow guests and enjoy.
Share with FriendsBeing able to take home your Italian culinary knowledge is one of the many things that guests love about this cooking class. Florence tours rarely offer such intimate, informational experiences, so make sure you’re booked onto this class for your next trip.

What a fantastic experience! Luca was incredible and made the day so fun! Francesco and Antonio were absolutely precious. They were all so knowledgeable and taught in a way that made it easy to learn. I can’t wait to take another walkabout tour. Maybe to learn how to make pizza next time!!

This was one of the highlights of our trip to Florence! First class experience, and the ladies running the classes were exceptional. Thank you to Gloria, Ivana, Alessia, and Lavinia I would highly recommend adding this experience to your next trip to Florence.

Ciao!

My wife and I were in Florence for a portion of our honeymoon and looking for a chance of scenery from Florence for a day. This was one of the highlights of our travels through Italy. We booked last minute the day before and were able to get a spot in the Pasta/Gelato class. Our guide Eleonora and chef/instructors were a lot of fun and made it feel like a genuine warm experience. They were all very engaging and Carmela, who didn’t speak a word of English just made it feel much more authentic alongside Alessia, another chef and translator. The pasta and gelato came out incredible and they had plenty of wine to sip through the day. The rustic farm house was clean and beautiful inside and they seemed to operate like a well-oiled machine, but still kept it personal and engaging, even with our larger group of nearly 30 people. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this for anyone spending more than a day in Florence.

What an absolutely beautiful experience! From the time we boarded the bus to the beautiful Tuscan farm to the night we left after sharing food, drinks, and laughs, this is a can't-miss tour. A big thank you to Francesco, Letizia, and Carmella for the wonderful hosting and teaching us how to make complicated pasta dishes, sauces, and gelato. If you're on the fence, let this review be the one to help you over!

Our pizza and gelato class with Max, Arla, and Lodovik was an amazing experience. The view was absolutely beautiful, which made it even more special. They gave clear, step-by-step instructions on how to make both the pizzas and the gelato, so it was easy to follow along and actually learn. The whole class was fun and entertaining we were laughing the entire time. It was such a great mix of learning and enjoying the moment. Every tasted great! Overall, an unforgettable experience that I would highly recommend!

We just came back from the pizza and ice cream experience, and it was absolutely amazing! I have never been more excited to write a review. It is very important to ask for Chris, Tiziano, and Ludovico. They were the chefs who taught us, and I can’t imagine a better trio to have this experience with. Honestly, I’m not even curious about other chefs because they were simply incredible. They are funny, very welcoming, and extremely engaging. Without them, the experience would not have been the same. We will definitely book the pasta class next time, because they told us they teach that as well. Absolutely brilliant, very fun, and full of smiles. You leave the beautiful location with great energy and amazing food that you cooked yourself. We are already looking forward to the next class!

What an unforgettable experience! From start to finish, the Pasta and Gelato Making Class with Livio, Carmela and Cris was pure joy. They were not only knowledgeable but genuinely warm, funny, and patient — turning what could have been a simple cooking lesson into one of the most memorable days of my entire trip. The class is incredibly well organized, from rolling out your own fresh pasta to mastering authentic techniques that make you feel like a true Italian chef. There’s something magical about learning a life skill like this — then getting to sit down and enjoy the delicious fruits of your labor! And let’s talk about the atmosphere: warm, welcoming, and full of laughter. It’s team-building, culinary education, and pure fun all rolled into one. The setting is breathtakingly beautiful, surrounded by the Tuscan hills — and whether you prefer a generous pour of Chianti Classico or sparkling/still water, they’ve got you covered. Every detail, from the ingredients to the hospitality, is perfection. Honestly, for the price, this is an absolute bargain. You get hours of hands-on instruction (10 a.m. to about 3 p.m.), a full meal, wine, dessert, and unforgettable memories — all while being treated like family. If you’re in Rome (or nearby cities), it’s 100% worth hopping on the train to Florence just for this experience. A best-kept secret in Tuscany — but one that deserves to be shouted from the rooftops! Highly, highly recommend this class for anyone who loves food, fun, and fantastic company. 🍝🇮🇹💛

This was a vey amazing and fun experience that wouldn't like to miss in Florence. Started with how understanding, responsive and professional way of handling my reservation date mistake, and being flexible of rescheduling. But the most amazing thing was the tour it self, starting with how friendly we have been met at the meeting point, and then how we have been greeted at the facility it self. The location is within a very nice place. We really got all the fun from the best team ever; Ado, Tiziano and Lodovik!! They really made our day with all the fun and friendly way that they have treated us. We did laugh a lot and learning more and more about Gelato and Pizza Making. We love you guys and we already have recommended the place to many of our friends! Keep the spirit guys, that was amazing!! 😊❤️
It is always a good idea to book in advance in order to avoid the disappointment of the tour being fully booked.
The tour is open to all ages from the age of 8.
We welcome everyone to enjoy our cooking class whether you are a beginner or a pro in the kitchen!
We will provide you with all the ingredients and cooking materials you will need, including aprons and cookery utensils so just bring yourselves!
We do not organise hotel pick-ups for difficulties with parking and scheduling, but our meeting point at the Biblioteca Nazionale (National Library) in Piazza Cavalleggeri is central and should be easy to get to. It is very close to Santa Croce church and square from which many hotels are located within easy walking distance of. Otherwise a taxi (you could ask your hotel to book it for you) would be the fastest option, dropping you off right at our office.
Not only will you learn about Pizza and gelato and its importance in Italian history and Culture but you will have hands on experience in learning to make pizza and gelato including learning about the special techniques involved.
Yes, the class is hands-on. You will be taught how to make the food and then you will enjoy eating the pizza and gelato as well as fettunta and wine and beer.
Transportation to the farm and back, the pizza and gelato making with beer and wine, a pizza and gelato diploma and recipes - so you can recreate this meal at home with your family and friends!
